I read these earlier reviews and they got me worried that this website would take my money and not deliver my goods. So I tried to contact them - customer services didn't reply to my email or my voicemail - which was not good and did add to my worries. But, to offset the negative reports from other people on this site I need to report that my headphones were delivered within the time frame stated on the website - factoring in the warning about a delay due to Covid.

Although panicking after seeing the reviews of it being a scam site and having already placed my order, my relief came after receiving my package today, 8 days after placing the order. Tracking number took 7 days to actually become active which also caused panic but it was then delivered the following day.

I originally left a review concerned this was a scam website however my concerns were unfounded. Product arrived. Also I did have contact from customer services.

    No need to be concerned

I just wanted to provide an update to my review on 11th November (above). My phone finally arrived today (15th Nov) after initially placing order on 29th Oct. The tracking code only activated on Sat 13th Nov and arrived 2 days later by Royal Mail. Miagadget never returned my emails and their phone number does not work. Delivery took a long time, but to be fair to miagadget was within the maximum stated time on their website when factoring in delays for COVID. Although very happy with the product only giving 3 stars due to not being able to track progress of order and no response from the CS team. As a tip to any new customers, register for an account first as you will get sent a £5 off discount code for orders over £200. Something I only discovered later.

Ordered oneplus 9 phone over £200 cheaper than any other seller. Arrived after 5 working days well packed and 100%. NOT A SCAM WEBSITE if you want to save a packet and don't mind waiting all good. Customer services responded on email next working day.

NOT A SCAM but poor comms.
I ordered 2 phones at £150 cheaper - each - than anywhere else.
Got a tracking number sent, that didnt work for 5 days, and when it did it said there had been a problem. Was literally about to contact miagadget via email to chase up (after 10 working days) and the phones turned up.
There a couple of clues as to what going on here :
first, their customer service details are as follows:

    Email: contact@miagadget.co.uk

CS team working hours: Monday - Friday 10am - 19pm

    (UTC +8:00)

That might indicate that they aren't based in the UK
second, despite the phones having UK adaptors in the box, they came with a world/universal

travel adaptor for the UK plug, despite not being needed. This to me suggests that

    they are not UK based.

so I think they are probably doing 'grey market' imports. In other words they are buying products cheap (gadgets are not the same price all over the world) and selling them to the uk where prices are more expensive. perfectly legal (as long as tax is paid) but will annoy the manufacturers and mainstream sellers in the UK who have to agree and stick to a pricing policy between them.

so no different really than buying a decent bit of tech in the US/South Africa (where prices are cheaper) and bringing it home.

phones are genuine (I checked) and work fine as they have global bands and an adaptive power supply

The site has saved me £300 and I've got 2 great value phones which I've succesfully registered on the Sony support site, so I think its ... Read more

Unfortunately for me I'm among those who did not got their purchase delivered. And there is no way to communicate with the store. All contact data is fouls.
