I bought one pair of pants at $34.

Tracking information was useless. Only showed it was shipped from China.

Website said the shipping would be 12-20 days,
I got my pants on week 5
They were very low quality in material and much smaller than expected. I contacted them via email and surprisingly I received an email response within hours stating that they sent me what I ordered and nothing they could do about it. I replied that their website offers 100% customer satisfaction with 14 days of refunds or exchange.

Their response was exactly as I type below without any typos:

    Sooooory!

Even though their website is well-designed and hard to find any typos in text email communications prove that they are very far from speaking writing English.

I would NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN
another funny thing that caught my attention and made me suspicious was that as soon as I made the purchase via their link on Instagram, I was going to be boarded by ads on Instagram with same product very similar advertisement under different brand names. After that suspicion I kept a close eye on the shipping sadly was too late

Ditto to all. I’m another unsatisfied customer. It’s been almost 4 weeks. Yes, they finally did respond last week with a fake tracking number. If I paid through PayPal, is there a way to recover my $100? That’s the last time I buy off an ad on Facebook! I should’ve known better.????

www.cottagegift.com - looks legitimate but appears to be a scam website.
The company is marketing military style tactical style clothing via a video adds on Facebook, showing someone trying to cut the clothing with a knife. I place my order totaling $86 and opt to pay an extra amount for 3 to 7 days shipping using PayPal. The transaction went through, I received a tracking number, and my bank shows a payment to PayPal for that amount, but PayPal has no record of the transaction, and the tracking # is bogus as well. Tried contacting this company but no response.

Nothing but complete scam artists-while my order arrived sooner than expected , both pairs of 'pants' were incorrectly sized and according to them this is somehow my fault(?) and they refuse to do anything! STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!!!

IT IS A FRAUD - DON'T BUY THIS

I ordered a XXXL (42" to 44"). I received a pair of pants with a label XXXL, but the waist was 36".

Sent them pictures and proof with a measuring tape, copy of the description on their site, etc.
They kept saying I received what I ordered.

I even tried sendint 4 different claims, 3 had that response, and one of them got a "please lookup your tracking number to know the date of delivery...".

Same problem as they shipped the wrong size and will not answer my email. Scam artists and Facebook should be checking these outfits for legitimacy. I think that Facebook has the ability and resources

I filed a complaint through PayPal when the item never arrived. They never responded to me directly. They finally shipped the item after I filed the PayPal complaint and it arrived 5 weeks after my order. It didn't fit. NOT...EVEN...CLOSE!! PayPal requires the buyer to pay for return postage. The address I was given was in CHINA! The price of shipping the item back was twice what I paid for it - so I halted the claim and I will just give the pants to my 14 year old grandson - if they fit him - which I doubt!!!

Here's how the SCAM works: Purchase slacks or shorts.. Comes from China... The size is incorrect. Shipping back to China by post is almost what you paid for. They keep your money.. Very Clever.
    Don't do CottageGift again EVER.
