Rating:SCAM dealers----Purchased advertised progressive lenses from surprisenook.com, they sounded good—BUT these lenses are not progressive, don’t work properly. I complained that I spent $24US and they don’t work as promised, but “customer service” told me that they sent me the “correct” product, so there’s nothing they can do. I’m stuck with useless product and am out $24US.
Other red flags:
1. Charged me an extra $6USD for "customs" (did not appear on the final invoice I agreed to pay), before the order was even shipped---BUT there was no customs charge collected after shipping
2. I left a very honest and generous (should have been 1) 2 star review on their website, but there are only all 5* reviews showing---so they are HIDING bad reviews to mislead customers.
3. Their "guarantee" makes it sound like they will help dissatisfied customers, but there is NO guarantee of quality or honesty.
I am a bit surprised, because they will not get repeat buyers--- cheating customers for short term gain is not a strategy for future success.
4. They said they could send me a refund if I returned the product to China—but they didn’t provide an address (said the address it was shipped from would not work!) to return it to, and the cost of sending back to China is almost as expensive as the glasses—waste of money as I don’t actually believe they would send me a refund anyway, based on their actions so far.
