Rating:I tried to access my WhatsApp application on my iPhone. A screen was produced saying the WhatsApp software needed to be updated. Clicking the update button produced a screen requesting card details to update. Thinking this was the new WhatsApp to be paid for application I entered the card info. I got an e-mail reply saying I was now subscribed to an allscreen.media account for 5 days free of charge.
I found the allscreen.media website, which appears to be legitimate, and immediately cancelled the subscription.
This all happened within the last 24 hours. Given all the other fraud claims on the French language version of ScamDoc, I fear that I'll have to block my card. I'll try to update here if I get further information.

Update to this situation: I sent 2 messages to allscreeen.media asking for termination of the 'fraudulent" subscription. I used the "contact us" form on the allscreen.media support website using the title "Unsubscription" proposed on the messaging page. Nothing happened - and there was no response.
Yesterday I used the customer support e-mail address announced on the allscreen.media website to send a message in French and English asking to cancel the subscription. Less than 12 hours later I received an e-mail reply from allscreen.media confirming that no charges are attributable to the account and that the subscription has been cancelled "as per your (my) request".
I am still of the opinion that the hacker/phishing methods used by agents of allscreen.media to deceive people into subscribing to their services are utterly deplorable and seriously damage the commercial viability of allscreen.media as a service provider. Throughout the various complaint sites on the internet one can find, in almost each language, reports from people having their bank accounts debited for no apparent service.
I will monitor my bank account closely to check any debits that allscreen.media might attempt, not withstanding to agreed cancellation of the account obtained through fraudulent means.
