This looks like a scam i analysed the pictures of the GEP coin white paper founders and i was to find out that the product control Armand Jones is in fact the picture of Steveen Ciobo an australian politician.

Mariex.com say it exists since 10 years where as bitcoin was only created in 2009 ( would it be the first exchange but no one has heard of it??) and no information on this exchange is available on internet.

I was invited to connect telling was opportunity to buy GEP when no information is available either on internet nor those this coin have any website ( whitepaper is directly on the exchange when you click on buy coin.) . The person said it had some internal information and i could be first to invest it was a great opportunity. My opinion stay away.

mareix is a scam. I was lured to the site by a scam artists on Tinder. Ignorantly, I began to trust the woman from China (Hong Kong) and over a period of a month sent all my savings and a loan from the bank to the site to buy a fake cryptocurrency GEP. I sent 2.2 Bitcoin ($23,535 USD) from binance to mareix and bought the fake GEP token with my Bitcoin.

Mareix is 100% a scam. Mareix.com is a front for a fake ICO scam, which is pushing a fake cryptocurrency token called GEP. This scam is being perpetrated by fake female profiles on Tinder who then play the long game of gaining a victim's trust via WhatsApp to invest in this fake GEP coin. If you look at the mareix site right now, the price of GEP has dropped 100% over the last two days and anyone who has invested their money into GEP has lost it all due to this scam.

This scam is very sophisticated. These criminals trick you into transferring bitcoin or other cryptocurrency to mareix.com whereby you exchange it into this fake GEP coin. You soon find out you cannot sell the crypto back, exchange it, or withdraw your crypto from the mareix site. The GEP white paper is also completely fake. It is falsified and is using images of real people with fake names in order to appear legitimate.

There are many other scams just like this out there going right now operating under different names and fake ICOs. Always do your research and never trust anyone giving you investment advice over the internet. Anyone who has fallen victim to this scam needs to save all correspondence, images, etc. and report them to the authorities. Please also see the correspondence going on over at signal-arnaques regarding this scam.
