I purchased a set of photography notes from a company called Photography Notes on September 5, 2025. The product was advertised with detailed descriptions, photos, diagrams, and tables in color. After paying $40.85, I discovered that what I actually received was only plain black-and-white text. The company then attempted to upsell me for an additional $40 to access the version that matched the description. This was never disclosed until after payment was made. It is a clear bait-and-switch.
Despite their prominently advertised "90-day risk-free money-back guarantee," they have refused to provide a refund.

    Detailed Timeline

    3. September 6-10, 2025 - I contacted their support multiple times to request a full refund, citing their own advertised "90-day risk-free guarantee." Instead of... Read more

Perhaps not a complete scam, but definitely an immoral business. I took advantage of their Free download promotion, and clicked too quickly to notice that my free download had an $11 shipping charge. If they don't refund, I'm filing a complaint with the credit card company
