Beware of the "vcremotetalent" Scam
Hi everyone, I want to share my experience with a platform called vcremotetalent. They claim to be part of Vestiaire Collective, but their process is suspicious and misleading.
They offered me a job called "virtual ranking" where I had to click and submit items to boost their visibility. Before starting, they asked me to deposit $100 on their website. They promised a 1% commission per click, 30% for limited edition items as commission , and $600 weekly base salary .
At first, it looked real. They paid me some commission and even refunded my deposit. But soon, they gave me a "limited edition" task that required a much bigger deposit--about $600. They said the money would be refunded, so I went ahead to make the deposit. Then I got another "limited edition" in the same task, but this time they asked for $2,000 to continue and finish the task.
They told me I must pay or I wouldn't be able to finish the 120 daily tasks, get any commission, or get my money back. They even said if I didn't have the money, I should borrow it to complete the task.
This is how they trap you--by first paying a little to build trust, then asking for huge deposits that never end.
In total, I lost around $650 or more. They even used the official company name and registration details of Vestiaire Collective S.A. (Company n°517 465 225 RCS Paris, 53 rue de Chateaudun 75009 - Paris) on their contracts to appear legitimate.
Please be careful--this is a scam. Don't fall for it... Read more

I am sorry this happened to you. The details you explained here are exactly what has happened to me. This was a very convincing setup and I really thought I had landed a job with a fancy reputable company. The first few days earnings had me excited but on day 3 when they have your confidence the bonus items you get is a trap and you lose your commission and salary if you don't complete them. The trick is you have to deposit funds to cover the cost of the bonus item as part of the job description. First its about 650 (a little more than you already earned) and then almost 2000. Im sure they are catching many of us who just want an honest wage. It is definitely a scam.

Rating:I was about to start working for them when it looked awfully suspicious and sounded too good to be true. They provided a link to VCJobNetwork.com but with a screenshot for VCRemoteTalent.com so they must be trying to operate under a new name.. I'm glad that you've both shared your experiences.
