My experience with the YouMetalks dating app has left me feeling wary and disappointed. While it presents itself as a legitimate platform for finding connections, delving deeper reveals a myriad of concerning practices.

The app operates on a credit-based system, where engaging with potential matches quickly becomes financially draining. Want to send or view photos within the messaging platform? That'll cost you credits. The same goes for opening profiles and accessing videos - everything seems to come with a price tag attached.

Upon joining, users are given a meager 50 free credits and inundated with a flood of potential matches. It's as if they're intentionally overwhelming you to deplete your credits faster. And when you inevitably run out, a prompt conveniently offers to replenish your credits for a hefty fee, promising unlimited chatting - a promise that falls short as credits vanish rapidly.

Email communication within the app is no exception. Each interaction, from opening photos to reading full messages, chips away at your credits. Even the profiles themselves raise suspicion. They appear almost too perfect, with some seeming recycled across different pages. I can't help but wonder if these profiles are merely AI-generated, designed to entice users into spending money on virtual interactions.

Attempting to move conversations outside the app is met with resistance. Suggestions to chat on other platforms like Telegram or WhatsApp are brushed off with rehearsed responses,... Read more

Big scam. Every click cost you money. U start talking to someone. They start sending you pictures. Then more pictures that are locked to open. Cost you more money to open. Now. Why in the hell someone chatting to you send you locked pictures that cost YOU money to open? Unless they also making money from you. Also when u ask the person you chatting to. To move to another free chat room. They refuse.

    I deleted my account.

Potentially a good site. But a total ripoff. Extortionate prices!

i have to agree with the thought that its another total scam.

It's a nice feeling to get the attention but paying for that attention just is messed up.. I mean I'm lonely but every time put $20 down for a conversation within not even 10 min those so called credits were depleted. I literally got on this site last nite and I got to the point that within a chat I asked the gentleman if he was getting a "cut" from the charges ($40) was my max.

I'm out - let's be honest -another point of contention - all 10 of the men who chatted with me are ALL doctors!! Really?! DEFINITE SCAM
