Rating:Whatever you do, DO NOT book a room through Roompicks. This is a company run by scam artists. They booked a room for me in Southfield, Mich., in June 2023. They listed a luxurious suite with a separate living area and bedroom. What I got was only a step up from a homeless shelter.
I had to be moved to three different rooms, none of which were anywhere close to what they had advertised. As I walked through the halls I almost choked from the smell of marijuana wafting through them. There were unsavory characters all about, leaving me feeling unsafe about my belongings.
When I told the attendant I couldn't stay there I raised the issue with Roompicks and they blew me off saying I should have complained to the management, even though Roompicks was the one who falsely advertised the space.
These people are liars and ripoff artists. They stole my money and had the nerve to block my cellphone number when I tried to call them.
Be warned, these people are criminals. Do not give your money to them.

Rating:Thank you for your advice. You have saved me 700usd.
I just saw a couple of photos in arbritel and I thought it was all lies. No reviews in any of their proposed accomodations.
Thanks to you I know it was problematic. The photos did not match the description nor the price. He answer I got was too empy and no name.
Their website is all fake too. Just some whatsoever random photos where you can not book any of the proposed places. 100%scam. It takes about 1 hour to fake that web.
Beware and sorry you had to go through booking with them.

Rating:My friends and I laughed out loud when we read their Chatsworth, CA offering. We all live in Chatsworth and would like to point out the hotel is not new, you cannot go fishing, boating, or swimming at the Chatsworth reservoir. I’m not sure if they ever allowed it, but it was closed off to the public in 1969. And there is no water there! As far as walking to the Van Nuys golf course, I would recommend some good hiking shoes as it is over (10) miles away from Chatsworth. Have fun!

Rating:DO NOT book with this company please- whatever you do!
I was looking through Airbnb for a small house to rent in Grand Canyon Village, when I couldn't find one I liked I saw a hotel advertised for hundreds of dollars less than the hotel rate, so I booked it. When I went to go pay the price had jumped $300 more then advertised.
Not less then 3 hours later I went to look at the reservation and it for the next day check in. Now I'm not sure if the dates were rigged or it was an accident on my part, but I immediately jumped into action. I contacted Roompicks & Airbnb and asked to change the date. Airbnb said it would cost $190 more- ok no problem, but I'll need permission from Roompicks.
I then called Roompicks back. The customer service was awful and very unprofessional and told me it's not possible. Both companies kept blaming each other for the reason they couldn't accommodate me. They told me I had to cancel my reservation and rebook. That's simple error ended up costing me $450. I kept disputing it and asked for at least $200 more which they denied.
I feel completely robbed and it was the worst customer service of my life. Shame on Airbnb for allowing these scam artists onto their platform. Just book with the hotel directly.
