Rating:Avoid Billabook!
I booked a room which went through OK and paid for. But due to work I had to cancel my booking, I clicked on the Cancel Booking button but it came back as failed and to contact them via email which I did. I had no reply so I tried cancelling again and got the same result. I tried the online chat which said it was out of hours but leave a message and we'll get back to you (it had auto-filled my email address so it knew who I was) which I did - still no reply after 2 attempts at that!
It's been 4 days now and passed my free cancellation date. I contacted the hotel directly and they confirmed the booking but not that it is cancelled and said they could not do anything, just to keep trying Billabook.
So they seem to be very dodgy and to be avoided - stick to reputable booking firms!
I'll keep trying but I don't think I'll get my money back.

Rating:I cancelled my booking within the free cancellation period and they refunded 100 times less than the original amount paid. Absolute scam!
