Rating:This site claims the following: "Our Passport Application Editor and Support Service helps you:
Fill out the form online
Your form gets reviewed by a passport expert to ensure it is error-free and you can evade possible delays.
You get Personalized Instructions on how to submit your application, so you don't have to read through a maze of unclear instructions."
Nowhere does the site inform you that they are not affiliated with any government agency. Instead, they have built a duplicate of the FREE State Department form that you can fill out online. Their "personalized instructions [without] a maze of unclear instructions" are word-for-word identical to the official government form verbiage. As for "passport expert," who knows what that is supposed to mean. For their "service" they charge your credit card a little under $65 (wonder why it's $64.88 -- exchange rate with a foreign country?)
Since SSN is required for passport renewal or application, they end up with ALL your identification. If you've used them, subscribe to credit monitoring ***now***!
