I've seen this a 1/2 dozen times before. Impressive web site with bargain clothes. Great photos of the shirts (in my case) but behind it is mostly a scam of very poor quality products. very very thin material with no durability at all. very poorly printed.
The delivered product is majorly inferior to what they present. Technically you get the Hawaiian shirts (in my case) but the quality it too poor to even wear anywhere.
One hint is there is no one to contact or ask questions of.
Sites like this will disappear in a few months. They are scams.

Yes, very appealing designs may lead one past a security check, but don't be fooled. Google it. Nearly every word of theirs on Google is misspelled or grammatically inappropriate. Clearly a short-term scam.

It would appear I was sucked in. I made a purchase back on May 13th and got the following message: We are terribly sorry for the delay.

Now your HAWALILI order is ready and it will be shipped out shortly. We will notify you with a tracking number once it is shipped.

Once it is shipped, you can expect it in 7-12 business days.

If you run into any issue, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Best regards,
    Coco
    HAWALILI

After questioning the actual order, no contact number, no tracking number etc, all I have gotten is repeated message with a different name. Yes I was sucked in and have filed a complaint with the US FTC along with my credit card company and anyone else I can to stop this scam/fraud operation and stop people from still others money. Good thing its less than a $100.00 but if they get a lot of orders from others like me, that's thousands in someones pocket.

Appears to be registered vendors with Chinese connections. This is based on using their address:Suite 31a, Philpot House, Rayleigh, Essex, SS6 7HH and doing google searching. one of the registered owners is not more than 40 years old! Almost got HOOKED by ordering but luckily i found this site (REVIEWS). I will be more inclined to double-check out independent web-vendors for the future!

I would not say that Hawalilii is a total Scam but certainly I will not order from them again. Finally, after almost a month, on June 6, I sort of received the order. One item it was paid for was missing, and the one arrived is the wrong size. What is interesting the invoice the sent with the order was written in German. After what I've experienced I don't even try to return the item.

Thank you, something looked off to my technically challenged eye. Glad I googled it, have had enough horrible experiences with Chinese vendors sending their goods late or never, or just extremely poor quality items. Thanks!

OK, I wasn't as smart as some of you. I should have googled about this website first. Luckily, I bought only one shirt. Very annoying, because I like these artsy looking shirts. I am still waiting for my order after about a couple of weeks. Not, sure if it is coming at all. They sent me a link for tracking the shipping of this order, but this is not a tracking link at all - that is when I got suspicious.

I too got scammed by the flashy spring and summer shirts. I ordered four shirts early May and have not received them.

I requested an update from them by sending an annoyed email and got a reassuring one from the company that they would be arriving within a week. That was three weeks ago still nothing. They gave me fake tracking numbers. A total scam. Glad I only lost $100. Too bad since the shirts look very nice. Someone deserves a good old fashion Boston beat down for wasting my time . Scott B. The holes need to be cut by customers, please have a try, thank you.”

I would love to be able to complain about the quality of the product, but I haven't received the order after many weeks. I did receive a reply from email to customer service indicating that a partial order had been sent, but is being held up by the shipper. This is certainly outside of the posted expected shipping date range. I don't know if I will receive any portion of this order.

We should all file a complaint to US Federal Trade Commission: https://www.ftc.gov/faq/consumer-protection/submit-consumer-complaint-ftc

This is a scam, and they do not care. After repeated emails and complaints, they do not correct the mistakes that they made.

I bought a dress and the dress had buttons but NO buttonholes. After a few email correspondence, the latest email was to offer 25% refund if I keep the dress, or full refund if I send the defective clothing back to them in China with the shipping fee covered by the customer.

If you search about the company location, google map will give you a location that is in the middle of a lake in Kansas. The return label was here:

    TO:Pan Huiling
1st Floor, Building 3, Jinyuan Square, No. 2 Taohong West Street, Junhe Street, Baiyun District, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, 510000
    TEL:+8613543483702

I will contact the credit card company and try getting a full refund. Also, I will file a complaint to FTC after this.

The site is a total scam. I receive shirts (after five weeks) and neither was the right size nor the shirt that I ordered. On top of this the quality of the workmanship is so poor (one shoulder longer than the other) as well as the material, one wouldn't want to wear the shirts anyway.

  • TomW 06/20/2020 at 05:37 PM

I placed an order for 4 shirts and 2 jewelry pieces. Everything has arrived (after about 30 days) except 1 shirt which USPS tells me is going to be delivered today.

One of the shirts arrived with the wrong size and I'm currently experiencing difficulty in getting them to respond to a replacement request. Other communications ("How do I track my order?") were responded to within 2 business days with accurate information.

My experience so far is that they are not a scam. My best guess is that they are new and experiencing growing pains.

    GIGANTIC SCAM!
Imagine if the Nigerian scam guys would only ask for $25 for a risk that they will never deliver on? They would collect $25 from thousands of people - because it doesn't seem like much of a risk and if it you lose it - what the hell right? Well this company is just like that - they have a killer web site, beautiful clothes at unbelievable prices - they pop up on your phone (Chinese optimization at its best), you pay them and then POOF! GONE! You never hear back from them, they give you a phony tracking number that says that "PitneyBowes" shipped your shirts from China - all that is is them telling the post office they shipped "something" but the Post office never receives it and that's when you find out you've been fucked. I ordered 3 shirts - that is $80 they took from me. No CS number, no email, no nothing. DO NOT BUY!

Ordered two shirts 5/12/2020 - five weeks later I'm still getting BS from the customer service rep via email about how my shirts are on the way. Finally got a tracking number that shows the package is with PITNEY BOWES in Illinois and has left and returned to the facility? NEVER order anything from this company.

Shirt sizes are weird, quality is atrocious, and return is quite impossible since you need to mail item back to Guangzhou, China, which will cost more than the item itself! Stay away!

Complete scam, I've had the same experience others describe. Ordered weeks ago and USPS tracking shows that the items never arrived to USPS to ship to me. When I contact their customer support I get near-illiterate responses telling me I'm wrong or I have to be patient as it will take longer. Stay away, and don't be fooled by the site or the attractive shirts in the pop-up ads.

OK, so I am reposting; I finally received my shirt on July 6 that I ordered on May 30. I like my shirt very much however I will not order from this website again unless they clean up their mess and have some method of convincing there customers that they are not a scam - which I think will be unlikely. If TomW is right, that; "they are new and experiencing growing pains" then they have obviously gotten them self's in a situation they are ill prepared for and should aim to improve. On the other hand if they are scammers - well then that's different story. In any case I will not be buying from them again. Too bad because I like their shirts.

Hawalili is a SCAM!!! THEY ARE IN CHINA!

They sent no tracking number. I emailed them. They said they would send and they never did. Suspicious. Later found out why.

It took 1 month for 1 of 9 items to arrive. It was not the size I ordered. They sent a shirt 4 sizes too big. The removed size tags to deceive. As if I'm too stupid to not know an XXXL from a small. I contacted them. They said they are in China.

They said I had to ship shirt back to China at my expense to get a refund.

They said it would be expensive or they would discount the shirt 15% ($3.50) and I could alter it. It would cost $30 to alter that $25 shirt. It canceled immediately. This was their scam, I refused and demanded my money back and that they cancel remaining items.

They did not send shipping labels. I contacted them 6 or 7 times to cancel. They stalled. Then 5 days later told me they canceled my order, but they did not. I received no refund.

2 months later they sent 6 other items wrong sizes. The rest of the items were terrible quality. Some of items were also wrong sized, but put in packages of the correct size. International scam, counting on the fact no one would return an item to China at their expense!

I contacted my bank, but because I used PayPal (Don't use them. Harder to dispute), I had to go through Paypal. Hawalili then refused 4 times to take back items.

(If you used bankcard, contact your bank to dispute! Don't use PayPal. File a complaint online with Federal Trade Comission. They are crooks and you will see your money unless you dispute charge!... Read more

I must be a lucky sap... I ordered several shirts in early June and immediately received a confirmation number. After a few days and no follow-up, I got suspicious and found this site after Googling Hawalili. I then contacted them via email and asked for a cancellation and refund. I was told I would be charged 25% of the order since I was outside of the 24-hour cancellation window. I replied that I wanted a full refund and that the 24-hour cancellation was not anywhere on the order and was, therefore, illegal. Got a reply saying order was on hold and would be charged 15% of the order for cancelling. I resent the original email, restating their illegal nature, and was refunded 100% within 3 days. Very surprised, given the previous reviews, that three emails got the money refunded and didn't have to go through the credit card.

Two months after ordering two shirts, and after having made at least 3 e-mail inquiries, I finally received the shirts I ordered; however, the sizes (3X as ordered and both shirts labeled) ain’t right! Compounding matters is the fact that now, two months after I ordered the shirts, they’re marked down even further! Am I foolish enough, make that stupid enough, to attempt returning the shirts? The answer is yes, but I’ve decided to cut my losses in this particular matter. Live and learn.

Do not buy from here. Total Scam. Just look at their website customer reviews. All 5 star, fake emails and and fake reviews. I bought three shirts. Took 2 months to arrive. All three were the wrong size. They had the right tag sizes, but the actual shirt was tailored 3 sizes smaller. One shirt was even marketed as mens, with male model in pic, but it was actually a woman's branded, sized and reverse buttoned shirt. Poor quality materials also. I tried to return and they have you jump through hoops with short deadlines between steps or you lose your right to return. They never actually gave me the return address, but required I send them picture of return label by a deadline or return cancelled. Even though they said you can return to San Francisco, you can't. Have to send back to China at high shipping prices. They offer instead of paying high shipping price, get a 15% cash refund "to get the shirt tailored correctly". Hard to do with half the material required and wrong gender shirt. Save yourself money and shop somewhere else.

Yup, another gift from....CHINA. A total scam. Beware of their internet trolls posting really positive comments. They charge your credit card and then start to manufacture the product. One month later, nothing received. The issue is that they freely advertise and do not disclose that they're really a Chinese front. They obviously only took PayPal as the card companies in this country wouldn't allow them to process payments. I posted a PP blog but to no avail. They continue to rip off Americans!

    Mario (Florida).
please don’t buy anything from this company. It’s a scam. I think I know what they do. They sell you nice products via a nice looking website but they only ship part of the order. The other part they never ship and they keep telling you to wait that their supplier will ship it in the next two weeks but they never ship anything. I waited for two months and finally decided to cancel the order and ask for a refund. I haven’t received anything yet and I’ll be lucky if I do. In any case, they use the money you gave them for two months or more. Nice way of investing with somebody else’s money. Not sure I’ll get the refund or 100% of it. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM BUYING AT HAWAILILI.
