Rating:These are scammers currently calling themselves saferock-consult.click . They offer to 'recover' funds that you have 'lost' by asking to download screen sharing software and then create a crypto wallet. They then will tell you that you have 'available funds' in the blockchain and then ask you to pay an initial 'recovery fee' or they use details they have harvested from you via screen sharing to launder money or perform other illegal activities. I put their current domain into whois and it was created in July 2023, a few months ago, even though the guy on the phone said they'd been operating since 2016. I challenged the guy on the phone with this and he said that the website got 'redesigned' then. When I asked him to tell me what 'their previous website address' was, because 'you can't be too careful these days', he started to get uptight because I was 'asking difficult questions'. I got transferred to a women who also got upset for asking the question as 'she wasn't my personal secretary' and it would be 'unprofessional to ask any of her colleagues'. After 45 minutes they gave up lol. I have spoken to them before they just don't realise and were using another domain and phone number.

Rating:Quite interesting, they called me as well but still in the 'lost' and recover discussion, your story makes perfect sense, so steering clear from them
Just quite amazed that I brushed them off and just sent me an email with all your details and even got a legit looking email from the nice lady on the phone , with name and refund case # ... but then upon checking a bit deeper ... with a proton email address, no linkedin profile, no website for SafeRock , etc
Hard to imagine that any normal sounding person can be scammer ... quite scary also ...

Rating:Had a call from them today (08/01/23). I asked them for their web address, checked that out also found this page whilst I was on the phone to them. I told them they've been reviewed as scam/dodgy. I asked them for details on the so-called scam I'd been a victim of, but they couldn't provide info or even a range of years/dates. After the call ended, one of their "senior" members called back, kept it very short and blocked the number.

Rating:Do not get involved
I too asked them a lot of awkward questions
Firstly i asked them for their company registration number which every business in uk must have
He didnt have any idea what i was asking
I asked why their phones come up as mobile numbers and when i call it it says number not recognised he said because we are busy
Then i said what is your address he then tried to come up with a street name breech road or something and couldnt give a post code
Then try to make out call centre in cyprus
In total he was very slippery and evasive and kept trying to turn conversation into recovering money that he had no information for
Do not get involved this is just another scam
